It’s podcast time, and Motor1 has a YouTube channel devoted strictly to podcast entertainment. Motor1 Podcasts is the new YouTube home for all official Motor1 podcasts, including Rambling About Cars with hosts Chris Bruce and Christopher Smith. The podcast is also available in audio-only format on Spotify as well as Google Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Podchaser, Audible, and possibly through satellites orbiting Mars. We can’t confirm that last bit.
Rambling About Cars relaunched the official Motor1 podcast in January 2021, and the hour-long show has enjoyed steady growth since then. Bruce and Smith casually banter about anything car-related, usually touching on trending automotive news while injecting some keen observations, witty hot takes, and plenty of motoring insight gained through over 30 years of combined experience in the automotive realm.
And that’s just the first half of the program.
The Chris’s love to ramble, and the second half of Rambling About Cars usually tugs at enthusiast heartstrings with deep dives on topics like cool engines, cars in pop culture, the best winter beaters, obscure cars that deserve more love, and sometimes, the hosts even drink a shot of hot sauce to make a point. Along the way, Bruce and Smith often welcome special guests for passion-driven discussion, and the duo always welcomes listeners to interact through comments, social media, or the official email: podcast@motor1.com. Heck, sometimes they even invite listeners to join them on the show.
